EUREKA- Over a 1,000 kids got to learn about the agricultural industry, thanks to a fair that was held at EHS.

The four hour long fair was put together by the EHS FFA Club. Elementary and middle school students were invited. There were farm animals, a tractor demonstration, and natural resource displays. Visitors got to tour the AG department.

ARCATA- The Arcata home that was destroyed in a fire, belonged to a City Ambulance employee. A "Go-Fund-Me" page has been set up for the family to help them rebuild.

The blaze happened around 12:30 pm Monday. AFD says they still don't know what caused the fire. Kaycee Hurd is a paramedic. Her family lived in the building.

MIRANDA- A structure fire with a possible hash lab inside prompted law enforcement and fire officials to evacuate nearby residents in Southern Humboldt.

SHELTER COVE- Beachgoers at Black Sands Beach continue to take photos with a dead whale that washed ashore over the weekend.

Humboldt State University's Marine Mammal Stranding Network is looking into the possible cause of death and have taken samples. The sight is definitely drawing a lot of attention.
