EUREKA – The Eureka Police Department is warning the public about an uptick in burglaries primarily in the Henderson Center area. Of 24 burglaries so far this month, 16 of them have occurred between 8 am and 5 pm while residents are at work.

EUREKA - The Boys and Girls Club of the Redwoods is looking forward to bolstering their teen programs after raising over $25,000.

The initial goal of $21,000 was not met in the 21 days they had wanted, so the Boys and Girls Club extended the campaign and they surpassed their goal over Thanksgiving weekend with an anonymous donation of $10,000.
