EUREKA - One burn victim was transported to the hospital after an explosion at a Eureka residence.

Around 9:40 Wednesday night, Humboldt Bay fire crews arrived at the 3800 block of D Street to flames coming from the backyard of the home. The back side of the residence caught fire and took 15 minutes to bring under control. The condition of the burn victim is not known at this time. Law...

Eureka - The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors is close to finalizing the Medical Marijuana Land Use Ordinance.

NORTH COAST -The rains have diminished a little and some areas of the county are opening back up.

ARCATA - The City of Arcata is rethinking where it might send their recyclables.

The city council was set to approve a memorandum of understanding with the Humboldt Waste Management Authority to participate in a recyclable material processing contract for two more years.
