EUREKA - A Southern Humboldt man pled guilty Friday to manslaughter and claims to not remember the incident. 60-year old Earl Orr of Phillipsville could serve 14-years in prison for the shooting death of 47-year old Jessica Hare.

Authorities say back in April of 2015, Orr was found asleep in the trailer where Hare’s body was located.An autopsy confirmed she died from a single gunshot...

NORTHEASTERN HUMBOLDT - Four days later and the Tully arson fire continues to burn. However, fire fighters have slowed its growth.

ARCATA- Free WiFi is coming to the Arcata Plaza! It kicks off Saturday with a grand opening.

There will be food there, trivia, DJ's and music. The event is put together by the city, Arcata Main Street, and state farm. Can you guess what the theme of the major opening is? Pokemon!

HOOPA- A house is destroyed following a structure fire in Hoopa. 

Fire crews were on scene last night on Little Moon Lane. Hoopa Fire responded to assist the Volunteer Fire Department in battling the blaze. It spread from the home on to some vegetation.

It is unknown if there were any injuries.

EUREKA - The Humboldt Bay Harbor Recreation And Conservation District discussed how to replace Commissioner Mike Wilson who was elected to the Board Of Supervisors in June.

EUREKA - many families will be busy this weekend shopping for last-minute school supplies, but you can get them for free at Jefferson Community Center.
