A male suspect was arrested after a high-speed chase Monday night in Northern Humboldt.

 

Just before 11, Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to pull over a vehicle on Highway 101 near Westhaven. The vehicle fled southbound and reached speeds of 85 mph.

ORICK - The scenic Newton B. Drury Parkway is closing to all motorized vehicles on the first Saturday of each month from February through May to allow visitors the chance to experience the natural sounds of the park.
