EUREKA - At the fair on Thursday was the Disability and Senior Expo at Franceschi Hall.

It was the 10th annual expo.

EUREKA - Humboldt Bay Fire battled two fires overnight and both of them are labeled suspicious.

Around 3:30 this morning, firefighters responded to the 2400 block of Broadway in Eureka. A mobile home was fully engulfed in flames.

FORTUNA - Fortuna residents are being asked to vote on a new tax this November.

City Council approved the ballot measure at Tuesday night’s meeting. The proposal would impose a 3/4 cent sales tax for the next 8 years.
