EUREKA- Closing arguments in the Gary Bullock murder trial wrapped up Tuesday morning and the jury began deliberations. Bullock is accused of murdering Father Eric Freed in the St. Bernard church rectory in Eureka, New Year's Day 2014. 

The jury has since adjourned for the day without handing down a verdict. They will reconvene Wednesday morning.

EUREKA - Two suspects are still at large after a high speed chase Saturday night in Eureka.

Law enforcement is on the lookout for 27-year old William Combs who is wanted for multiple felony warrants. Authorities also seek an unknown female suspect.

EUREKA - The Redwood Coast Music Festival wrapped up over the weekend in Eureka and was a resounding success.

Last year the organization changed the name from jazz festival to music festival. Officials wanted to appeal to a broader audience and reflect the fact the 3-day event showcases many different types of music and so much more.

EUREKA – Homeless people living in the Palco Marsh in Eureka have less than one month to vacate the premises. This timeframe was determined by city officials because trail construction is set to begin in the area mid-May. Tuesday night city council will look at options to aid homeless in the marsh during the transition.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY- Local businesses are sounding off on the landmark legislation Governor Brown signed Monday to raise California’s minimum wage to 15-dollars an hour.

Under the legislation by Senator Mark Leno of San Francisco, minimum wage will rise to $10.50 an hour on January 1, 2017 for businesses with 26 or more employees. It will continue to rise each year until reaching 15-dollars...
