NORTH COAST - With continued wet weather, some rivers on the North Coast are approaching flood stage.

The Van Duzen River is currently forecast to exceed flood stage around 1 am Tuesday and cresting around 5 am.

Bridgeville and Highway 36 may be impacted. Other main stem rivers in Humboldt County are expected to exceed monitor stage but not to reach flood stage.

FORTUNA - Two suspects from Fortuna are behind bars after an alert officer finds them with allegedly stolen vehicles a day apart at the same gas station.
