HUMBOLDT COUNTY- A new fish cleaning system is on it's way to Shelter Cove, thanks to the help of a $228,000 grant from the Ocean Protection Council.

RIO DELL- 200 illegal marijuana plants were seized and destroyed in Rio Dell.

On Thursday, Rio Dell PD, with assistance from Fortuna PD, responded to the 400 block of Monument Road. Officials had received numerous reports of strong cannabis odors, which later proved to be accurate.

Right before 3 a.m. Tuesday, an FPD officer was patrolling the 2200 block of Redwood way.
