EUREKA - A McKinleyville man wanted for allegedly trying to murder his brother is in custody.

EUREKA- After election night, just 12 votes separated the Division 5  Harbor District race. Now, one week later and the Humboldt County Elections Office has released the final results.

There were some changes in the final outcome but incumbent Patrick Higgins extended his lead. He edged out Susan Rotwein by 81 votes.

LOLETA- Congressman Jared Huffman is visiting the North Coast this weekend paying visits to local businesses and students.

EUREKA- The suspect in a shooting that injured one Thursday night in Eureka is behind bars.
