HYDESVILLE - A pedestrian was in the hospital Tuesday night after getting hit by a vehicle near Hydesville.

Around 6 pm, the C-H-P received a call of a man walking in the middle of the road westbound on Highway 36;  three minutes later, another call that the same man was hit by an unknown vehicle. The victim was taken to Redwood Memorial Hospital with major injuries.

EUREKA - A tradition that dates back almost 70 years in Humboldt County is better than ever in 2015.
