EUREKA - It wasn’t just police officers on the streets last night. Fire prevention officers were also patrolling Eureka making sure celebrations didn’t get out of hand.

EUREKA - North Eureka was blanketed in smoke after a transient campfire spread to grassland along the waterfront.

Just before 1:00p.m., Humboldt Bay Fire responded to waterfront drive at T Street where a transient man's campfire had spread into the grassland.

RIO DELL - Fireman’s Park in Rio Dell is a host to food for people’s summer lunch program.

The program is a way for children to get a complete lunch for free, and also get some sun and play time.

MCKINLEYVILLE- A building is completely destroyed following a structure fire in McKinleyville.
