Leggett - An update on the Lodge Lightning complex fire burning just south of us near Leggett. Evacuation orders have been reduced to evacuation warnings in the following areas: “Camp Seabow”, “Elder Place”, “Tan Oak Park”, “Bald Mountain Ranch”, “Mad Creek”, and “Elk Creek” east of Brush Mountain.

The evacuation order will remain in place for Hermitage, Big Bend and Camp St. Michael....

Human remains were found in Humboldt Redwoods State Park on Sunday, after being discovered by a hiker.
