Arcata Police have arrested three in connection to the stabbing death of a 50 year-old Arcata man. Sophie Buttercup Rocheleau, 24, Nicholas Benjamin Stoiber, 28, and Juan Joseph Ferrer, 35, all of Arcata were arrested on charges of Homicide.

EUREKA- The body that was recovered from Humboldt Bay on Monday has been identified. The man was 59-year-old Chester Bighead, a resident of Eureka. Bighead was found floating in the bay at the foot of Commercial Street. There is no indication at this time whether or not foul play was a factor, or how long the Bighead was in the water.
