BAYSIDE - Emergency fire and animal control officers rescued a horse that got stuck over a steep embankment in Bayside.

Around 8:15 Wednesday morning, Arcata Fire along with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Department found a horse that had appeared to have rolled down a hill and lodged itself between a large log and tree.

EUREKA- The results are in! Over 500 people completed the online survey to help improve Cooper Gulch.

EUREKA – A man was stabbed in Eureka after refusing to hand over his money.

Around 3:30 Wednesday morning, the male victim told Eureka Police that a white male in dark clothing asked him for money on the 1000 block of Broadway.
