CRESCENT CITY- The Del Norte County Fair opened its gates to the public Thursday and with the fun came one plea: save our fair.

Nearly 25,000 people are expected to come out to the fair this weekend. This year the fair features many new events including: an alligator exhibit, an extreme dog show and a concert by country superstar John Michael Montgomery.
