ARCATA - A 42-year old female who was reported missing in McKinleyville was found Tuesday in Arcata.

Chellesta Fleek was reported missing Monday around 12:30 in the afternoon. Family said the disappearance was out of character. Law enforcement, Search and Rescue along with a Coast Guard helicopter had given search mainly in McKinleyville around the Hammond Park area.

A new fire is burning in Trinity County. The Browns Fire started Tuesday afternoon and has grown to  35 acres.
The fire is located south of Weaverville and the Trinity County Sheriff’s Office has ordered mandatory evacuations for Little Browns Creek Road.

EUREKA- The Humboldt Bay Harbor District has a new division one commissioner. Larry doss will take over the position in December.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY- The Avoid the 8 DUI Task Force's end of summer DUI crackdown wrapped up Monday night. This year Humboldt County saw less arrests than in 2014.

From Friday, August 21 to midnight Monday, 48 people were arrested for driving under the influence. Last year, 52 people were arrested for dui during that same time period.

EUREKA- Ambulance rates in Eureka, Fortuna and Garberville are going up. The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors voted to approve the rate hike Tuesday morning.

City Ambulance will raise it's emergency response rate by $400. The new rate is now $1,425. The company's critical care transport rate is also going up by almost $800. That new rate will be $1,900.

EUREKA- There was a flag outside of the Humboldt County Courthouse, at half-staff Tuesday in honor of a Deputy Sheriff who lost his battle with cancer.

Corporal Rich Schlesiger was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2014 and after a long fight, he died Monday afternoon.
