Arcata Police need help in identifying a person of interest in the case that resulted in two Humboldt State University students being stabbed after leaving a party following Homecoming. Arcata Police believe that the man in the photo may have critical information in the case.

The City of Arcata is responding  to more clogged sewer lines and sewage spills from more items going down the drain that don't belong. Those items are floss, baby wipes, and products labeled as 'flushable' but do not break down enough.
