EUREKA- A Eureka man was arrested after stealing from an electronics store.

FAIRHAVEN- Deputies are searching for four suspects responsible for a home invasion in Fairhaven.

EEL RIVER-  PG&E is encouraging extra caution as they increase water flows on the Eel River. 

The reason is to conduct maintenance testing at the Potter Valley Powerhouse. The water flows will go up to 40-cubic feet per second. This will also include the Cap Horn Dam area and the Scott Dam area. They say the portion of the river is not appropriate for tubing, and is only appropriate...

EUREKA- An online fund was set-up to help a nurse and her daughter who lost their dog and home in a fire.

Wednesday night, Peggy Friehauf and her daughter woke up to a large amount of smoke. They evacuated and several fire crews responded to put out the blaze. Damage costs and content loss estimated to $175,000. Luckily the two made it out uninjured, but their dog was later found dead....

EUREKA- It's that time again, fire season is quickly nearing. Six Rivers National Forest and Redwood National Park are hosting a community meeting to discuss the upcoming season.

Last year, 100,000 acres burned on Six Rivers land. It was caused by 14 big wild fires that began with lightning.
