DEL NORTE COUNTY- It's not a fast and easy process; Several abandoned vehicles were removed from the Smith River National Recreation Area. Thanks to the Smith River Alliance, and their partners the Trash Dogs.

It requires more involvement than it seems- once they locate the abandoned vehicle, they have to analyze it for brush that may have grown around it, or that may be preventing them...

FORTUNA - Some west coast tourists are enjoying their lack of 'freedom' Friday after they were 'kidnapped,' and 'sentenced.'  A couple and their grandson were found guilty… of having a good time in Fortuna.
