EUREKA - Work continues on Eureka's Waterfront Trail with major progress expected this week.

ARCATA - A man trying to clean electronics ends up starting a fire in an Arcata mobile home park.

A man was cleaning a corroded battery compartment with rubbing alcohol at the Arcata Mobile Estates on Alliance Road just after noon today. He installed a battery before the compartment was dry. Vapors ignited and spread to the work surface.

ARCATA - The Arcata Minor Theater is readying for re-open after it closed its doors earlier this year.

DINSMORE - Two Eastern Humboldt men are arrested after they are unable to provide authorities with permits for their marijuana grow. FERNDALE- The 120th Humboldt County Fair just wrapped up over the weekend with a big turnout.
