MCKINLEYVILLE- A building is completely destroyed following a structure fire in McKinleyville.

HUMBOLDT COUNTY- A Eureka man sustained severe injuries after he was hit by a car.

Shortly after 9 p.m Sunday, 38-year-old Joshua Culbertson was crossing northbound HWY 101, 500 feet north of the Indianola cut-off. 33-year-old Michael Wise Jr. was driving his Honda Accord north on HWY 101 and struck Culbertson.
