HOOPA- The Humboldt County Sheriff's Office says they have pinpointed the crime scene Monday night's shooting in Hoopa to a location on River Road, just off Pine Creek Road. Around 11:40 p.m. Monday night a 45 year old Hoopa man was shot several times while driving in that area. He is in stable condition.

MANILA- Good news for residents in Manila, a new separated bike and pedestrian path along State Route 255 is coming October 2018.

The project is made possible through a $1.7 million grant from the California Transportation Commission's Active Transportation Program. Humboldt County and Caltrans are working together to design the new path and begin construction.

ARCATA- An 18 year old Hoopa man has been arrested in connection to the stabbing death of 52 year old Anthony Michael Pennucci.

Pennucci was found stabbed multiple times Sunday night outside of his apartment at Courtyard Circle. The Arcata Police says Richard Villa Dean was charged Wednesday morning on suspicion of murder.
