HUMBOLDT COUNTY- Hazardous materials specialists were called out to State Route 36 Wednesday after a logging truck overturned, spilling nearly 50 gallons of diesel on the shoulder of the roadway.

WILLITS- Caltrans has achieved what they call “a major milestone” in the Willits Bypass Project.

ARCATA  - HSU employees and executives will be receiving an across the board raise for the 2015-16 budget year.

EUREKA - Six suspects were arrested by Problem Oriented Police after numerous complaints in Eureka.

EUREKA - Law enforcement says two serial thieves were arrested Wednesday in Eureka.

Police conducted a traffic stop on the 1000-block of Broadway for 43-year old James Cunha and 32-year old Rebecca Hamline both of Eureka. The two felons were taken into custody for active warrants on recent thefts and vandalism incidents. Cunha was also wanted in a check fraud case.
