RECALL ALERT - A large recall of celery and onion blend products sold at numerous local and national stores is underway.

EUREKA - A carbon monoxide leak caused a Rite Aid store in Eureka to be evacuated Tuesday.

It happened around 11:15 at the store on the 400-block of Harris Street. Initially it was thought a gas leak had occurred. PG&E was called but detectors instead picked up a moderate level of carbon monoxide believed to have come from an industrial piece of equipment used for waxing floors....

EUREKA - A long-time Eureka city councilmember and friend of many in the community turned 100 years old Tuesday. The Rotary Club of Eureka threw him a special birthday celebration at the Elks Lodge.
