Permits for those who want to cut their own Christmas trees are available Wednesday through the Six Rivers National Forrest. Permits are available Nov.13 through Dec. 23 and can be purchased for $10 at local forest offices or through the mail.

 

Six Rivers gave out more than a thousand permits to the public last year. Individuals must be 18 years or older to purchase a permit....
