EUREKA- Another deadly accident on Highway 101 near Eureka takes the life of a pedestrian.

It happened around 11 Saturday night in the southbound lanes near Herrick Avenue. The California Highway Patrol says the victim was walking in a lane wearing dark clothing.

EUREKA- A pedestrian was killed late Saturday night after the victim was hit by a car on Highway 101 south of Eureka near Herrick Avenue.
It happened at around 11 pm on the soundbound lanes.

The crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
