EUREKA - More job cuts are coming to Humboldt Bay Fire, with the possibility of having to close it’s Station Four permanently.

BLUE LAKE - Toys for Tots now has an extra $100,000 to buy Christmas gifts for children in need this year.

TRINIDAD- Crews were back on scene Tuesday morning putting out hot spots following a fire that completely destroyed a house and mobile home.

HYDESVILLE - A pedestrian was in the hospital Tuesday night after getting hit by a vehicle near Hydesville.

Around 6 pm, the C-H-P received a call of a man walking in the middle of the road westbound on Highway 36;  three minutes later, another call that the same man was hit by an unknown vehicle. The victim was taken to Redwood Memorial Hospital with major injuries.
