EUREKA- The Eureka City Council is expected to adopt the 2015/2016 Fiscal Year Budget as soon as June 16th.  When that happens, they’ll vote toinclude purchasing body cameras for all officers with the Eureka Police Department.

Eureka/Arcata - The California Highway patrol is increasing traffic enforcement efforts as Caltrans continues work along the safety corridor and old Arcata road. It comes at the request of the bicycling community.

WILLOW CREEK - A vehicle was damaged significantly after an explosion Thursday morning in Eastern Humboldt. Around 8:20, the Sheriff’s Office responded to the Willow Creek Apartments on Highway 96 and a report of a possible explosive device detonated inside a vehicle.

EUREKA- Plans are moving forward to renovate a vandalized office that sits on the balloon track property in Eureka.
