MCKINLEYVILLE- A suspicious vehicle investigation landed two behind bars after deputies found a large amount of marijuana and sales information.

EUREKA- Coming out of a closed session on Tuesday, the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors announced that Kristin Brinks has accepted the Humboldt County DHHS Director position.

Brinks is currently the Deputy Director of Community Services for the El Dorado County Health and Human Services Agency. 

Brinks begins in Humboldt January 11.
