EUREKA- We've learned the identity of the victim in Saturday's deadly shooting at Hammond Park.

Police say around 10 Saturday night, 18-year-old Dax Clay Edward Brown of McKinleyville was shot at the park, located on 14th and E Street in Eureka. When officers arrived on scene, they found brown unresponsive. He later died in the hospital.

DEL NORTE COUNTY - Firefighters are making more progress on the Gasquet Complex Fire in Del Norte County.
