Eastern Humboldt - A male victim walks to safety after allegedly crashing his vehicle in Eastern Humboldt four days ago.

DEL NORTE COUNTY- The juvenile who escaped from a Del Norte County probation facility has been detained.

FERNDALE- Like many other north coast cities,  Ferndale has now voted to approved the HERO program.

Homeowners that apply may notice savings on their future utility bills. HERO's financing helps locals to make energy and water efficiency improvements and pay for them over time through their property tax bill. HERO's also helped create over 12,000 jobs locally.

TRINIDAD- It was a unanimous decision- Susan Tissot is now the new Trinidad City Council member.

The decision comes after a special meeting that was held last night at town hall. Tissot was up against two other residents- Doren Morgan, and Kathleen Lake. During the meeting, a city official says Lake was accused of plagiarizing her letter of intent, but later apologized.
