Humboldt Bay Fire, City Ambulance and Eureka Police Department responded to a three car crash at about 10AM Tuesday on Broadway.

The three cars were traveling southbound near Hawthorne.

Injuries were initially reported but fortunately all those involved were determined to be okay.

Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor.

A Pittsfield, Massachusetts man who fell to his death in Garberville has been identified.  


The body of 44-year-old Eric Christian Mineau, was located Saturday afternoon on a cliff near the Sprowel Creek and  Bear Canyon bridges.


No foul play is suspected and the injuries are consistent with a fall.

EUREKA- A McKinleyville barber has donated over 90 gallons of blood.


Leroy Murrell began donating blood at the Northern California Community Blood Bank over 50 years ago when he was just a teenager.

MCKINLEYVILLE- A laser was seen flashing near the Arcata/Eureka Airport over the weekend.
