EUREKA - An all-volunteer vehicle abatement team working with the Eureka Police reached quite a milestone taking their 200th abandoned vehicle off the street.

Tuesday morning, the team towed a van from the 100-block of 2nd Street that had been there for several days. Local businesses had expressed concerns after an attempted break-in was observed.

REDWAY- The identity of the 52-year-old woman found dead in Redway has been identified as Stephanie Gawboy.

Humboldt County Sheriff's Office responded Wednesday to the 100 block of Redway Drive. Gawboy was found dead with a suspected gunshot wound.

PECWAN- The Tully fire, which began late Monday afternoon, continues to rage in North Eastern Humboldt, and Calfire is saying that the cause is arson.
