DEL NORTE COUNTY - Law enforcement is asking the public’s help in locating a wanted sexual offender.

24-year old Hunter Roy McWilliams is wanted for multiple alleged sexual offenses against an underage youth. A 400-thousand dollar warrant has been established.

FERNBRIDGE- A female driver hauling a trailer is in jail after a hit-and-run Friday evening and it could have been a lot worse.

A Fortuna local icon, Robert Daniels, widely known as Bobby, has passed away.

Bobby was known for riding around the friendly city on his bicycle and making appearances at local events – all while wearing his signature safety vest.

Those who knew him say he was always collecting recyclables and would go out of his way to help people.

It's been nearly a week since the closure of the 101 near Leggett, and the inconvenience is putting strain on some local businesses.

Getting products into and out of the area to distributors is taking extra time and money, as taking detours can take upwards of seven hours.

Another death has been confirmed as a result of the two-vehicle crash on Highway 299 Monday evening.

2-year-old Aubrey Jane Wood sustained major injuries at the scene and was taken to hospital, where she has now been pronounced dead.

Her mother, 26-year-old Yesenia Wood, is in critical condition, and has also lost her unborn child due to the crash.
