CALIFORNIA- Senator Mike McGuire will chair an oversight hearing regarding psychotropic medications prescribed to foster kids.

RIO DELL - Rio Dell is making progress on some major water projects. 

Council accepted funds from the state to continue work on the Metropolitan Wells Project which will serve as an emergency water supply when complete. Rio Dell is providing $57,000 of the nearly $2 million budget. The rest is funded through federal and state grants.

EUREKA - The Budget Motel will not be closing down tomorrow as planned. That’s according to the owner David Kushwaha.
