RIO DELL - The nomination period for open seats on the Rio Dell City Council has closed and three candidates have been established for two vacant seats.

FORTUNA - Fortuna will look locally as it begins searching for a new City Manager.

Current manager Regan Candelario announced he was taking a position in Novato two weeks ago. Since then, council held a special meeting to discuss his replacement and earmarked $35,000 for a hiring search. But members decided to first seek local applicants before employing a search firm.
