EUREKA - Frustrations and emotions ran high Tuesday night at the Eureka City Council meeting. Several people spoke during public comment regarding homeless that were evicted from the Palco Marsh on Monday.    

One comment came from a man that lived at the marsh until the eviction. He claimed that all beds are full at shelters, the homeless are exhausted from carrying their belongings...

Thousands of North Coast residents lined the streets of Eureka to celebrate the 51st Annual Rhododendron Parade.

Floats and marching bands made their way up 7th Street before heading to Henderson Center for judging.

NORTH COAST - The Department of Public Health has lifted a health advisory and opened up an additional area for recreational Dungeness crab harvesting. FIELDS LANDING- The California Highway Patrol and medical personnel responded to an injured woman in the middle of the roadway in Fields Landing.

The call came in just after 3:30 Tuesday afternoon. According to the 9-1-1 caller at the scene, she was found in the middle of Depot Road, covered in blood. She was treated at the scene for minor to moderate injuries.
