World War II Documentary Of Local Vets Set To Debut November 10th
A documentary is in the making that will feature local World War II veterans and the letters they wrote during the war. The Ferndale Museum will debut "Letter's Home" on the eve of this Veteran's Day. In this week's Spirit of the North Coast, News Channel 3s Matt Mendes gives us a preview of what to expect.
If you're a WWII veteran or a spouse of a veteran, there is no charge as long as you reserve ahead of time. The cost is $10 for museum members or $25 for non-members (the $25 fee will automatically make you a member for one year). Tickets will be on sale at the following locations: "The Works" in Eureka or Arcata/"Green's Pharmacy" in Fortuna/"Rings Pharmacy" in Ferndale/"Lentz Department Store" in Ferndale.
