PG&E is working with the City of Arcata to nurture 460 acres of Sunny Brae forest in Arcata. The objective is to enable trees to grow bigger so that more Carbon emissions can be absorbed, rather than let out into the environment.
PG&E customers can pay a voluntary tax-deductible $5 a month, based on their PG&E bill.
