On a rainy Saturday, 3-teams from the HDN advanced in the NCS Playoffs. Both John DeMartini and Zach Wilkinson scored 2-touchdowns to help Eureka defeat Petalume 35-0. Ferndale beat St. Mary's 50-7 behind a 3-touchdown performance from senior Frankie Griggs. A heads up play from Cody Johnsen helped St. Bernard's beat California School for the Deaf 22-6. The lone HDN team to lose Saturday was Del Norte. The Warriors lost to Marin Catholic 32-0.
