The mysterious case that investigators are calling a homicide. Although the body of Jerry George was never found, sheriff officials arrested and charged Jacob Steele with his murder. Wednesday, Steele appeared before a judge and his case was continued despite the District Attorney's objection. In recent weeks, authorities arrested 3 more people as accessories to the alleged murder and for destroying evidence. The D.A.'s office is keeping a short leash on the facts of this case as the investigation continues. The case of the Happy Camp man who is charged with shooting and killing his wife was also in court this afternoon. A judge reviewed his bail but the jail says his bail amount remained the same. Investigators are charging 30 year old James Roberts with manslaughter because it's unclear whether he had intent when he allegedly killed his wife, Breonna Roberts. Authorities say he picked her up from a bar after her car was allegedly stolen. That's when sheriff officials say they drove to orleans where Breonna confronted a group of young men. Deputies say James Roberts opened fire striking his wife and drove her to meet with an ambulance but she couldn't be saved. In a private hearing this afternoon, the case of the former McKinleyville soccer coach went before a judge... 28-year-old Meghan Stewart is charged with having a sexual relationship with a 12-year-old girl who was her former soccer player back in 2004. Court documents show the relationship lasted over a year and there were between 50 and a hundred illegal acts that occurred at Stewart's Arcata home.
