CORKY, BLUE LAKE WIN CHAMBER'S TOP HONORS

Blue Lake Casino and Hotel and Redwood Coast Cellular owner Corky Cornwell were presented with the top awards at the Eureka Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet Thursday evening.  Blue Lake Casino and Hotel was honored as the 2010 Business of the year and Cornwell was named the Chamber's Business Person of the Year.  Other major Chamber awards went to Mantova's Two Street Music as Small Business of the Year, the Best Western Bayshore Inn was recognized with the Hospitality and Customer Service Award while former Eureka Mayor and current 4th District Supervisor Virginia Bass won the Tom Cooke Award and Carole Crossley was named Chamber Ambassador of the Year.  The Rotary Club of Old Town Eureka was presented with a Special Award of Merit for its community efforts.
