A Tsunami continues in effect for the entire coast of California including Humboldt and Del Notre counties. The warning, which was triggered by a massive earthquake in Japan, is expected to remain in effect until at least 5pm this evening. Evacuations have been ordered in low lying areas along the coast in Humboldt and Del Notre. No damage has been reported from the increased wave activity. Authorities are asking residents to stay away from beaches and low coastal areas. Video of the Mad River, Courtesy of Daniel Davis of McKinleyville.
