Evan joined News Channel 3 in April 2012 and is very excited to be a member of the KIEM-TV team.  A native Californian, he moved from Los Angeles County up to Chico to attend Chico State University.  Although Evan received his degree in a different field, he found his calling for broadcasting while hosting a talk-radio show at Chico State's campus radio station.  In 2009, Evan started his post-college career as the Assistant Sports Director at the ESPN and FOX News Radio affiliates in Chico.  In 2010, Evan took a second job in Chico at KHSL/KNVN-TV, the local CBS and NBC affiliates, where he honed his skills as a television reporter, producer, and anchor.  In his free time Evan enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their very unique rescue dog, "Riley" -- a Whippet/Catahoula Leopard Dog mix.  Evan truly loves reporting the news and looks forward to hearing your stories regarding the North Coast.  E-mail Evan at kiemevan@gmail.com with stories, questions or comments.
