Former Crabs Pitcher Heinig Dies

It's a difficult time for the Humboldt Crabs and everyone who knew Scott Heinig... The former Crabs pitcher died Sunday from injuries suffered in a fall at a house party in Davis, California... Authorities are still trying to figure out what happened... Heinig hit his head at a gathering Saturday evening apparently falling during friendly horseplay... The UC Davis graduate was just 22 years-old and played two seasons with the Crabs... The news comes just four years after another Humboldt pitcher; Kevin Morsching who also died of a head injury...
