Ghilarducci Sentenced to 30 months in Prison

Richard Ghilarducci has been sentenced to 30 months in a Federal Prison and 3 years probation after he serves. At 4:15 Wednesday afternoon the Honorable Judge Charles R. Breyer handed down Mr. Ghilarducchi’s sentence. Ghilarducchi plead guilty over a year ago on May 5th, 2010 for lying to a federal bank about loan documents. Since then, his sentencing date has been pushed back 5 times. Mr. Ghilarducchi resigned as CEO of the Humboldt Creamery in February of 2009, two months before the creamery filed for bankruptcy. News Channel 3 spoke with Richard Ghilarducchi by phone on Tuesday and asked for a comment. He declined but did confirm that he has been living and working in Scottsdale Arizona as a Real Estate Agent for the well-known firm Sothebys. An associate of his told our team he started at their office in November of 2010.
