Missing Girl Found Dead in Trinity River

At approximately 1:20 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2011 Trinity County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue Personnel located 2-year-old Sophia Parker Pedreros deceased in the Trinity River North of Coffee Creek.
The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office is charging her mother, Claudia Pedreros, 30 of McKinleyville with Murder.
