Hundreds of locals showed up at the Arcata Plaza Saturday morning to watch the start of this year's Kinetic Grand Championship. Many who have been working tirelessly for months, harnessed into their sculpture and peddled away. News Channel 3's Matt Mendes was there to see the race begin.
