ROUTE 169 NIGHT CLOSURES THROUGH JULY 1
A Caltrans project to replace a retaining wall on Route 169 in Humboldt County about 4.3 miles west of Ke’pel Creek (post mile 19.5) will continue to require regular night time road closures from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am, five nights a week, Sunday night through Thursday nights. Due to delays in drilling, road closures will continue through of the morning of Friday, July 1.
In addition, work will continue during daytime hours. Motorists should expect intermittent 15-minute delays.
Caltrans appreciates the public’s patience and is working to minimize impacts. For questions about these closures, please contact Caltrans Resident Engineer Jim Osier at 707-834-1152.
All work is weather dependent. For the most current road information on all State highways, please call 1-800-427-7623 (1-800-GAS-ROAD) or visit www.dot.ca.gov
