Arcata City Council Makes Decision on Recycling Debate

The Arcata City Council came face to face with the city's disposal needs at a meeting on Wednesday night. The council voted four to zero, with one person absent, to not sign an M.O.U. with Humboldt Waste Management. That means the city will not contract with Solid Waste of Willits. The city will continue its service with Arcata Community Recycling.
