Man Aims to Run from Oregon to San Diego
A Los Angeles man is currently pounding the pavement, trying to run from the Oregon border down to southernmost point of California, all to express his message of motivation and encourage ordinary citizens to follow their dreams...newschannel 3's Cameron Cramer caught up with Jonathan Prince in Humboldt County...

"796 miles" said Prince
J.P. is running down the entire California coast to hope to inspire others, and while it seems like a mammoth undertaking.
"This isn't my first rodeo, I’ve done three runs across America." said Prince
In 2005 he ran from LA to Atlanta in support of Hurricane Katrina victims, then repeated the feat on the one year anniversary...last year he made the 2700 mile trip from Santa Monica to Washington D.C. All told he's covered more than 8000 miles on his size 11's all the encourage onlookers to follow their dreams.
"It’s important, it's what wakes us up in the morning, and it’s what fuels us." said Prince
So while the north coast offers some challenging; if not unique, roadblocks:
"See that dead raccoon!!???" said Prince
It's been worth the wear and tear
"There’s something about the sweat work and labor that reaches the people directly, and I’m just looking to do my part." said Prince
So he'll keep putting one foot in front of the other, with one steadfast message playing in his head:
"Whatever one of us can do, it can inspire others to do their own. If I can just reach one person affect change in someone else’s life, that how you combust and change the world...one person, one family one community, one state, one county." said Prince
Jonathon hopes to finish by the first week of September, and plans to run in India and Africa before the end of the year...
