Fire behind Bayshore Mall

A vegetation fire was reported behind Bayshore Mall in Eureka around 11 a.m. Wednesday. Fire officials say the 100 by 60 foot blaze was contained within 30 minutes. No injuries were reported. Investigators are calling the fire suspicious and the cause is still under investigation.
