It’s a sad day for Humboldt County baseball… Former Crabs President and original board member Jerry Nutter died Wednesday night after suffering an apparent heart attack at his McKinleyville home… He was 74 years-old… Nutter attended every Crabs home game and could be found sitting with his wife Karen in the stands along the third baseline… Nutter is the father of Crabs manger Matt Nutter…He was part of a group back in 1995 that helped save the collegiate baseball team from folding… Crabs president Matt Filar says Nutter will be missed
