HIGH SPEED CHASE: Samoa Bridges

A Eureka man has been arrested after police chase him over the Samoa bridges at speeds up to 100 miles an hour. Deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriffs Office say they were on patrol in the Manila area when they tried to pull over Charles Uber. Uber is on active parole, he sped off over the Samoa bridges, reaching 100 miles an hour before he finally turned onto 3rd street and stopped at 2nd and I streets where he was arrested and taken into custody. Uber faces felony evading charges, as well as excessive speed and driving with a suspended license.
