PEDREROS TRIAL TO START NEXT WEEK

Claudia Pedreros will face a jury for the drowning death of her 2-year-old daughter. Trinity county court confirmed with Pedreros and her lawyer today that the trial will start on Septmeber 11th.  In May of 2011 Pedreros and her daughter Sophia went missing… she was found walking naked on the side of highway three in Trinity county. Her daughter was dead in the Trinity River. Pedreros is charged with murder and child cruelty, she had admitted to Sophia’s death. Now the question is was she mentally ill when she did it? That, will be left up to a jury starting next week.
