Honoring CHP Officer Thomas Adams

Many honored a fallen California Highway Patrol Officer today, as a news stretch of highway is dedicated in his honor.
Today family, friends, and colleagues traveled down two roads. A road of remembrance, another of sadness as they dedicate a portion of Hwy 101 to CHP officer Thomas Adams.
It was February 15th of 2011. Officer Adams was traveling on Hwy 101 in Mendocino County near Piercy. He lost control of his patrol car and collided with an on-coming vehicle. He was instantly killed.
Adams’ watch ended over a year ago…. But, for every motorist who drives past this sign, whether they know his story or not, his name and the spirit of his service will live on forever.
