STRUCTURE FIRE OFF HUMBOLDT HILL EXIT; Trailer Engulfed In Flames

BREAKING (10:45pm) -- A structure fire breaks out east of highway 101 just off the Humboldt Hill exit. Details are scarce. The call came in at about 10:25. We'll have more information as it becomes available.
 
UPDATE (12:30am) -- Humboldt Bay Fire responded to a mobile home fire just off the Humboldt Hill Rd exit, located next to the Humboldt Bay Mobile Estates.
 
When crews arrived, the single-wide trailer was already engulfed in flames. Upon arrival, fire officials say their top concern was protecting the surrounding areas.
 
Fire Chief Ken Woods says the trailer was vacant at the time of the fire, although he says there had been some people in and out of there earlier today.
 
At this time, the fire is being considered suspicious, as officials are still investigating the cause. There have been no reported injuries.
 
Firefighters were still hosing down the charred structure hours after the flames were put out. A total of 4 fire engines and 2 squad cars responded to the fire. The trailer is a total loss.
