2ND SUSPECT ARRESTED IN "MANILA MAYHEM" STABBING
A second suspect has been arrested in connection for attempted murder and mayhem after a stabbing in Manila. Jail documents show David Robert Bullwinkle was taken into custody by deputies with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office and booked late Thursday night. Bullwinkle was wanted for attempted murder and mayhem after the stabbing, which happened September 13th at a home in the 1900 block of Peninsula Drive in Manila. Bullwinkle was found Thursday night by deputies behind the residence where the crime took place. The stabbing left a 38-year-old McKinleyville man hospitalized with deep abdominal wounds. A first suspect, 27 year old Travis Morgan was arrested the night of the stabbing. The Sheriff’s Office says Bullwinkle’s case has been forwarded to the district attorney’s office.
