Fifty gallons of diesel fuel, coolant and engine fluid leaked after a truck crashes on Highway 96 Friday. The California Highway Patrol says it was a logging truck that rolled about 3 miles north of Willow Creek just before 10 a.m. The driver only had minor injuries, but because of the amount of fluid being leaked from the crash scene, county environmental health was called to the scene to evaluate. The highway patrol says no fluid made it into the nearby river, but some logs from the tipped truck did. No word on what caused the crash.
