NC3 UPDATE: DROWNING @ BIG LAGOON

A 16-year-old boy is still missing after he and his parents drowned yesterday at Big Lagoon. The names of the parents have not been released because officials are still trying to notify family members.

Yesterday afternoon when the family was at the beach, the family dog went into the water. The family was swept into the ocean while trying to save the dog and the other family members. The daughter who was also with them saw all three in them water. The parents were recovered yesterday.
The coast guard had to stop the search after heavy fog rolled in. They continued the search today with no avail. The dog later came out of the water alive.
