SHOOTING IN CENTRAL EUREKA: No Arrests Made

A shooting in central Eureka Friday night; detectives with Eureka Police say it happened just before 10 p.m. in the 2100 block of Progress Street. Police say they received a 9-1-1 call that someone had been shot at the home. When they arrived on scene they say a man in his early 20s had been shot in the ankle. Police say it was likely a family dispute. They have not made any arrests.
